October 13, 2003 Love has made me soft. No doubt about it. I've gained weight. I baked peanut butter cookies this weekend and fed them to other people. I'm not writing in my journal as much. I spent three or four hours watching the WB channel last night. All proof that my mind is going. Who over the age of 16 voluntarily watches the WB? Of course, when you don't have cable, your options are more limited. Still, it doesn't bode well. I wish I had more to say. But the news and the weather have made me a bit speechless. Not to mention the fact that the fate of the Red Sox is, apparently, the most important thing the Boston Globe needs to report on these days. Okay, so two guys got into a fight. Big freakin' deal! Get over it already! Sheesh. We all know what's going to happen. The Sox will be big contenders for a while. Then, just when they're ahead, they'll choke up and the Yankees will win. It doesn't take psychic powers to figure that out.
