Did I mention that I'm back home?

No?

Okay, well, now I have.

I have nothing to say about the matter.

Except that it's hard to throw away a relationship that's lasted as long as this one has.

That, and the cats are happier now.

And now, a musical interlude....

what were the skies like when you were young?
they ran on forever— they—
we lived in arizona and the skies always had little fluffy clouds in them
and they were long and clear and
there were lots of stars
at night

and when it would rain, it would all turn—
it—they were beautiful, the most beautiful skies as matter of fact

the sunsets were purple and yellow and on fire and
the clouds would catch the colors everywhere
that's uh, neat, because I used to look at them all the time when I was little
you don't see that—

(layering different sounds)

you don't see that—
you might still see it in the desert
